This is an acrylic painting of the character that I've named myself for, Nexa. She's BA. She's sleeping here, but when I get the chance I'll paint her with her eyes open. They're purple with gold flecks in them, and they're pretty much what make her pretty.
I DESPISE what my scanner has done to this. She looks like she's graying or has sparkles in her hair or something, and the fabric on her dress is all screwed up. -.- I think I'll have to start taking pictures of my art with a digital camera and putting that up instead; I've heard it doesn't butcher it as bad. I'll do that with this painting later. I can't decide whether to do a background or just leave it like this... I kind of like the simplicity of this without the background. Maybe I'll do what *sadwonderland does and do the backgroud separate... I dunno. I also want to do her with a full view of this dress because it's awesome. Normally, she hates dresses. She likes anything she can fight in better.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
