This is my first real attempt at trying to draw a person realistically... I drew it back in April and think it turned out alright, but it took me awhile to accept it. My middle school art teacher was constantly getting annoyed with me because every time I turned in a piece I honestly apologized because it wasn't very realistic and one day she saw me showing this to a friend and complaining about how crappy it was and told me, "Look, no matter what technique you use or how realistically you draw, it will ALWAYS come out slightly abstract because THAT'S JUST HOW YOU DRAW. I like how you draw so will you stop trying to change it?" Then she walked off and I took her advice. ^-^ It took me way too long to figure out that I could draw people decently.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
